Accidents are unexpected, but not inevitable. For the prevention of accidents related to automations, we have developed a new solution, which follows the requirement of EN 12978 standard.
This new system is made up of devices that communicate wirelessly through two-way communication. The MX14 transmitter, with the possibility of applying up to 8 units, receives information from the installed safety devices, such as 8k2 rubbers or dry contacts. Then, it communicates wirelessly with the MR14 receiver so that stop order or reversal of direction can be given to the gate’s control board. In this way, it is possible to prevent several accidents, such as:
The connection to dry contact safety devices can be applied in many ways, one of which is on gate service doors, so that the gate is never in motion with the door open, something that can sometimes happen and cause many damage to the gate.
In addition, it also detects impacts or inclinations through an accelerometer sensor, stopping or reversing the motor in case these devices are activated.
In this solution it is also possible to apply a solar panel that powers the MX14’s rechargeable batteries, so you don’t have to worry about replacing them for a long time!
