Brushless motor
Before we dive into the details of this new feature, let’s explain what makes the brushless motor so special.
Unlike conventional motors, which use brushes to transfer energy, brushless motors operate without mechanical friction. It means:

More security when detecting obstacles
Certification to the EN12453 standard gives TURBO greater safety and reliability in detecting obstacles.
Immediately upon detecting an obstacle, the boom stops and reverses course, ensuring vehicles never get stuck.
Boom speed
The brushless motor allows the TURBO barrier an opening/closing speed of 1.5 seconds for the shortest boom (2.5 meters). The maneuvering time is influenced by the boom size.
Precision of movements
The digital encoder allows for a more objective interpretation of the position and rotation angle of the boom, making the TURBO’s movements more precise when slowing down.
Smart flashing light
The built-in flashing light follows the movement of the boom during opening and closing.
Open Door Security Sensor
Using a micro switch system, the control boom detects when the mechanical access door is open.
Whenever the TURBO door is not completely closed, any maneuver will be blocked, making the automation safer.
