Simple connection anywhere
This control stands out for its ability to eliminate the need for complex network infrastructures, by taking advantage of 4G communication technology. This means that it can be installed in places where there is no Wi-Fi or internet available.
Reduced size
The small size of this device allows it to be inserted in practically any location, eliminating the need to use an additional box. Thanks to its compact design, it can be easily placed in small spaces or integrated into existing systems, without causing interference or requiring significant adjustments.
Simplified, economical and practical access control!
Compatible with Motorline readers and any brand as long as it has 26 or 34 bit Wiegand communication.
The Wiegand protocol is valued for its simplicity, security and reliability, making it a popular choice for a variety of access control applications.
But what is the Wiegand Protocol?
If you are not yet familiar with the term “Wiegand Protocol” and have never heard of it, you are probably wondering what this Protocol is.
The name “Wiegand” comes from German engineer John R. Wiegand, who in the 1970s discovered that wires made from an alloy of cobalt, iron and vanadium change polarity when passed through strong magnetic fields.
The Wiegand Protocol is a simple electronic communication system that allows the secure transmission of data between devices through two communication lines (D0 and D1)
It defines how data is transmitted between reading devices, such as card readers or biometric readers and access control.
Whats the matter?
The Wiegand Protocol is known for its binary data transmission format, where each bit of information is represented by a signal transition on one of the data lines, D0 and D1.
The bit sequence transmitted by the card reader is generally composed of a predefined set of bits, which may include the card identification number, control information, or both.
This bit sequence is then interpreted by the access controller to determine whether access should be granted or denied. The controller compares the received data with the data stored in memory to make this decision.
For example, with the Wiegand Protocol in action, when someone swipes a card, QR Code or presents a fingerprint to the reader, the reader transforms this information into electrical pulses that the access controller understands.
It checks whether this data matches what is in your memory. If so, open the door. If not, keep the door locked.
This authentication capability is vital for a variety of scenarios, from companies, airports, factories, industries, hospitals, clinics, hotels to government and military installations, where security is paramount.
